The 4th annual Columbia Gorge Invasive Species and Exotic Pest Workshop was held on March 19, 2015 in Stevenson, Washington.
This full-day event was sponsored by the Columbia Gorge Cooperative Weed Management Area and was hosted by the Skamania County Noxious Weed Control Program and Washington State University Extension.
The conference focused on invasive plant control as well as early detection and rapid response to other exotic pests such as insects which impact forest and watershed health. Information was presented on new and emerging technologies with a focus on best management practices. Subject matter experts from both Oregon and Washington State presented to the local audience.
